Richard Strauss, MBA, CPA
Rich Strauss’s 30 years of experience in public accounting include firms ranging in size from four people to “Big Five” when he worked at Ernst & Whinney prior to its merger with Arthur Young. In addition to managing Kaduson Strauss and handling a full caseload, Rich reviews all the work done by the professional staff and consults regularly with his clients to help them improve their businesses and/or finances. He also works extensively with trusts and estate planning.
Rich is a Certified Public Accountant in both New Jersey and New York, and a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor.

Rich is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), New Jersey Society of CPAs, New York State Society of CPAs, National Society of Accountants, National Society of Tax Practitioners, and Mercer County Chamber of Commerce.
Rich earned an MBA degree in Accountancy at Baruch College (City University of New York) and a BA in Economics from Union College in Schenectady, NY. He earned the AICPA’s Certificate of Educational Achievement in Taxation and has completed his Certified Financial Planner coursework. He lives in Central New Jersey with his family. His hobbies include spending time with his family, reading and golf. In addition, he is the bass player in the classic rock band 40 WiNX.
Neimi (Nick) Mousa, CPA, CFP®
Nick provides CFO/Bookkeeper/Advisor services to clients of Kaduson Strauss & Co., both at their offices and ours. This includes offering strategies to minimize tax liabilities and reduce inefficiencies, as well as advising clients on business and personal financial matters.
Nick graduated from Montclair State University, and earned his CPA certification in 2010. He is a Certified QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor, and a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Jennifer’s varied workload includes preparing financial statements and tax returns for Kaduson Strauss business clients, raising issues and planning ideas based on that preparation, and assisting other staff members in their responsibilities.
Jennifer joined Kaduson Strauss in 1997 after earning a BS in Business Administration from Rider University.
Patricia Zafian, CPA
Pat joined our firm in 2006 and earned her CPA certification in 2008. She works on all aspects of the accounting services we provide. Prior to becoming an accountant, Pat worked in basic research and industry after receiving her MS in Plant Pathology from Rutgers University. She enjoys gardening, reading and dancing.
Marybeth has been with Kaduson Strauss since 1999. She works with both business and individual clients. Marybeth is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in Behavioral & Social Sciences.
Jill, our office manager, joined Kaduson Strauss in 2007 as our administrative assistant and receptionist. She is the first voice you hear when you call and gladly assists both our clients and accounting staff.
Ed brings a special expertise to his work with selected long-time clients of Kaduson Strauss, including non-profit organizations and a number of our individual clients. His background is varied and he is a valuable part of our team.
Yasaman (Yasi) Nikpour
Yasi joined Kaduson Strauss & Co., for the 2015 and 2016 tax seasons, then became a full-time part of our team in 2017. She earned a BA in Accountancy from Rutgers and is preparing to sit for the CPA Exam.
Linda has been with Kaduson Strauss for over ten years and offers broad experience to our firm. She works with business and individual clients on all aspects of their accounting and tax needs. Linda enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, quilting and reading.
In 1992, Richard Strauss joined the practice, and became a partner in 1994. From that time, the firm has grown steadily, despite Bill’s untimely death in 2002.
Rich Strauss started the Kaduson Strauss Community Foundation in 2001. The Foundation raises funds through an annual golf outing and other sources. The funds are used to support various local and regional charitable organizations and community groups.
